This Pinot Noir is sourced from two prestigious vineyards situated in the premier growing regions of S. Barbara County: Riverbench in S. Maria and Pali in S. Rita Hills. The Riverbench grapes were harvested when they reached optimal ripeness, resulting in a wine that beautifully highlights the notes of brown sugar, baking spices, and earthiness found in S. Maria. On the other hand, the Pali vineyard, known for its cold climate, allowed the grapes to ripen fully before being picked late in the season. With an average of 25 Brix at harvest, a pH of 3.7, and a total acidity of 5.9TA, this wine showcases the perfect balance of flavors. Following the harvest, it was aged for 16 months in barrels, resulting in a well-rounded Pinot Noir that bursts with floral aromas and a delightful expression of terroir on the palate.
